What you can do as an active part of I-House at Ohio State:

  • Learn what life is really like in places such as China, Brazil, South Africa, Ireland and other countries

  • Experience the music, histories and foods of communities from all over the globe

  • Explore your own cultural identity and how it relates to others in the world

Top Five Favorite I-House Experiences:

  • Learning about the world by just hanging out with I-House roommates and friends

  • Dessert and conversations with international scholars and students

  • Annual Trip to a city outside of Ohio in order to explore ‘American Culture”

  • Collaborations with other student organizations

  • The “Taste of OSU” global festival sponsored by the Office of International Education

How to apply:

  • Students must also complete a Learning Community Interest Form and return it to reslearn@osu.edu or mail to Assistant Director of Academic Initiatives, University Residences and Dining Services, 190 W. Woodruff Ave., Columbus, OH 43210
