John Glenn School of Public Affairs Learning Community
Program Overview:
The John Glenn School of Public Affairs Learning Community is designed for students who aspire to make a difference in the world. The program seeks to cultivate the essentials of our democracy: citizens, leaders and ideas. The four central pillars of the learning community include:
- Policy
- Academics
- Social
- Service
The students typically have a passion for issues of service and policy and they study a wide variety of academic majors. Students live together in Baker Hall East and participate in activities and events that center around the four pillars.

- Quarterly public policy discussions
- Opportunities to participate in community service
- Hearing from speakers representing a wide range of political issues and perspectives
- Annual travel experience to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and/or New York City

Interest Form Instructions:
There is an interest form that we ask to be completed in order to assist us with your placement in the learning community. This interest form will assist us in making preparations for the 2009-2010 academic year.
