Visual & Performing Arts Learning Community
Program Overview:
The Visual & Performing Arts Learning Community is a community for artists or anyone who wishes to express creative ideas. Some of the specialized facilities Baker Hall West boasts are:
- Music practice rooms
- Small dance studio
- Computer lab with arts related computer programs (Macintosh & Dell)
- Small-scale performance space with lighting and A/V equipment
- Drawing studio with drafting tables
- Display cases to showcase student art
Benefits of this program include:
- Group trips to local theater and dance performances
- Annual travel program to a city to visit museums and/or performances
- Living in a community with students who take similar classes
University Housing collaborates with the College of Arts to create this living-learning program.
