Pharmacy House Learning Community
Program Overview
Pharmacy House is a learning community for new and returning undergraduate students interested in pharmacy. This dynamic community provides an opportunity to network with peers with similar interests and goals. In addition, faculty and staff members, as well as other students from the College of Pharmacy, provide special programming and activities to help residents make early connections with people in their field.
Benefits of this program include:
- Special activities designed to acquaint you with the profession of pharmacy
- Faculty dinners and discussions about healthcare
- In-hall advising time with an academic advisor
- Supplemental instruction and group support for academic curriculum
- Volunteer opportunities, on-site visits, and interaction with professionals and alumni
- Opportunities to participate in a short-term study abroad program focusing on issues in the field
Interest Form Instructions:
There is an interest form that we ask to be completed in order to assist us with your placement in the learning community. This interest form will assist us in making preparations for the 2009-2010 academic year.
