First Year Collegian Learning Community
Program Overview:
Leaving home, making new friends and learning how to study for college classes are just a few of the challenges that face first-year students at Ohio State. The First Year Collegian Learning Community is a community designed to assist students in their transition to university life.
The First Year Collegian Learning Community takes place in:
- Park Hall
- Smith Hall
- Steeb Hall
- Stradley Hall
Benefits of this program include:
- Residence Halls with the highest staff to student ratios
- Late night weekend programs
- Free tutoring in the residence hall for math and science
- Opportunities to interact with faculty
- Travel opportunities
- Social events
- Sporting competitions and much, much more
Students particularly enjoy living with other students who are experiencing college for the first time. The excitement and energy found in these communities create dynamic environments where students make friendships that last a lifetime.
