International House

Program Overview:

Imagine having global experiences right where you live on campus.  The International House (I-House) at Ohio State is a learning community for students interested in learning about our world’s many cultures and communities.

I-House works closely with The Ohio State University Office of International Education to provide “global” experiences both on campus and beyond.

What you can do as an active part of I-House at Ohio State:

  • Learn what life is really like in places such as China, Brazil, South Africa, Ireland and others
  • Experience the music, histories and foods of communities from all over the globe
  • Explore your own cultural identity and how it relates to others in the world

Top Five Favorite I-House Experiences:

  • Learning about the world by just hanging out with I-House roommates and friends
  • Dessert and conversations with international scholars and students
  • Trip to Atlanta, Georgia to explore life in the American South
  • Study Abroad Opportunity in London, England
  • The “Taste of OSU” global festival sponsored by the Office of International Education
