Substance-Free*
Students attending the Mansfield campus have the option of living in a substance-free environment. This program requires your completing the Special Program Commitment Form. In a substance-free environment, residents and guests agree to promote the development of a healthy lifestyle by abstaining from any substance use- alcohol, drugs, and tobacco- both on and off campus.
* Availability of this option is contingent upon demand.
Molyet Village Apartments are smoke-free environments. Smoking may occur outside or in designated areas only.
ResNet at Mansfield
ResNet is a high-speed connection from your personal computer in on-campus housing to Ohio State’s network and the Internet. Any Ohio State student living in Molyet Village can connect to the ResNet service at no additional cost. Each residence hall room or apartment is wired for ResNet.
To use ResNet, you will need at least a Pentium class PC (running Windows 95/98) or a PowerPC Macintosh (running MacOS 8.1 or later). Older machines running older operating systems may not function well with ResNet. You will also need a Network interface Card (some computers come with a card already installed). For additional information about ResNet, visit www.resnet.ohio-state.edu.
It is our goal to make our housing options accessible and safe for all students. If you have special needs for your living arrangement, please contact us to discuss your request.
