"In Whose Honor?"
Mondays with MUNDO
6:30 PM- 8 PM

From sports mascots to the traditional image of
American Thanksgiving, indigenous communities
have been represented in various ways
throughout U.S. culture. But do these images,
stories, and perspectives truly honor and respect
the rich and diverse cultural legacies of the
various Native nations? In honor of Native
American Heritage Month, join MUNDO, in
collaboration with the Ohio State Multicultural
Center, to examine what it means to know the
real story about how to honor and respect the
past, present and future of Native Americans.

A note about Accommodations for MUNDO virtual programming:

MUNDO anticipates that many of our programs and events will be offered virtually. If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in our experiences, please contact Julius Mayo at or (614)-247-2527. Requests made two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this time frame. If you have concerns about your ability to attend any in-person offers, please also notify Julius Mayo to discuss accommodations.
