This Safe Zone session addresses the experiences of LGBTQ communties through an engaging and interactive instructor-led training.
This session is designed to:
- Provide an overview and discussion of issues and concerns faced by LGBTQ individuals and communities
- Increase awareness and understanding about sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression
- Provide resources for students, faculty, and staff for allyship
- Promote a safer, more welcoming and more inclusive campus environment in which all campus community members of all sexual orientations and gender identities can live and learn fully
