OSU is seeking engaging, collaborative community builders who are committed to create the extraordinary student experience!  Are you dedicated to reaching out, educating and connecting students to Ohio State’s many opportunities, and traditions?  Our Residence Life team is comprised of professionals who are committed to building inclusive and globally aware communities, supporting student wellness, promoting student learning, and gaining a broad understanding of the student life practice.   

Successful candidates will have the skills to develop strong residential communities; build relationships with individual students; facilitate dialogue about identity and differences; provide support and referral to students; create intentional experiences and initiatives for residential students; coordinate learning communities and creative academic initiatives; collaborate with faculty and academic partners; shape student leaders through advising; engage in educational conduct conversations; coach and supervise Resident Advisors; mentor graduate students; manage crisis and facilities concerns and are administratively skilled.

Remuneration: a 12-month position with starting salary of $47,476; furnished apartment; comprehensive benefits package; professional development funding opportunities; and a tuition waiver.

Requirements: Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Student Affairs Administration or related fields (must be earned by June 23, 2019); full time or graduate residence life work experience.  Requires successful completion of background check(s).
