OSU is seeking ENGAGING, COLLABORATIVE COMMUNITY BUILDERS who are committed to helping students succeed.  Are you dedicated to reaching out, leading and connecting students to Ohio State’s many opportunities and traditions?  Our Residence Life team is comprised of professionals who are committed to building inclusive and globally aware communities, supporting student wellness, promoting student learning, and gaining a broad understanding of the student life enterprise. 

Successful candidates will have the skills to develop strong residential communities; form relationships with individual students; implement intentional programs for first and second year students; coach and supervise Resident Advisors; mentor graduate students; coordinate learning communities and creative academic initiatives; collaborate with faculty and academic partners; shape student leaders through advising; engage in educational conduct conversations; encourage dialogue about identity and differences; provide support and referral to students; and must have strong administrative skills.

Remuneration: a 12-month exempt position with starting salary of $47,476; furnished apartment; comprehensive benefits package; access to professional development funds; and a tuition waiver.

Requirements: Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Student Affairs Administration or related fields (must be earned by June 24, 2017); full time or graduate residence life work experience.  Requires successful completion of background check(s).
