If you are married, or have children, consider Buckeye Village, Student Family Housing at The Ohio State University. Advantages include:

Rates

The following rates are the projected rates for the 2013-2014 academic year. The rates are subject to change. For your convenience, all rent payments can be made online.

Buckeye Village Family Housing One Bedroom Apartment (unfurnished) $545.00/month Buckeye Village 1 Bedroom
Buckeye Village Family Housing Two Bedroom Apartment (unfurnished) $685.00/month Buckeye Village 2 Bedroom
Activity Fee $5.00 (paid one month of each semester)  

Apartments include heating, water, internet and trash removal as part of monthly rent. Cable, electricity and phone service is separate and is the responsibility of the leaseholder.

Rights and Responsibilities

In order to ensure that the basic dignity, respects and rights of all residents are preserved, those living in our community housing are expected to:

  • Treat other residents with dignity, respect, and consideration
  • Respond positively to reasonable requests from fellow residents
  • Cooperate with family housing staff
  • Respect the rights of all residents' access to and use of public areas and furnishings
  • Assume responsibility for the consequences of one's actions
  • Take responsibility for personal and community safety through appropriate use of equipment (i.e. smoke detectors) and safeguarding of keys
  • Keep the outside of your apartment free from clutter (indoor furniture, scattered toys, bikes, strollers, trash, etc.)
