Living Well
As with any transitional time in our lives, college students must focus some energy on their health and well-being.
It's important to know that homesickness is common and a natural reaction to moving away from home. Although Ohio State can seem like a large place, there's a lot you can do to make it feel like home and adjust to new schedules, friends and living environments, including these alternatives:
- Check out Learning Communities (unique residential experiences for those with similar interests)
- Get involved
- Know how to approach a roommate conflict
- Be safe
- Use your residence hall staff
- Keep informed about what you eat
- Exercise regularly
