Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience: Office of Student Life

APIDA Heritage Month: Vulnerabili-TEA

Time: Thursday, January 23, 2020 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Location: Barbie Tootle Room

Join the Student Life Multicultural Center’s Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Student Initiative and the Women Student Initiatives (WSI) to sit down with a nice hot cup of tea and talk about stereotypes and its impact on our mental health.

Everyone has been affected by stereotypes, whether they are gender or ethnic driven. But how do these stereotypes affect our own perceptions of self-worth? Do stereotypes create pressures that are anxiety provoking? Bring your mugs and connect with fellow peers as we look for a direction towards self-care!

This event is part of APIDA Heritage Month and counts towards Second-Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP).

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To ask questions about accessibility or request accommodations, please contact Madison Eagle at 614-688-8449 or At least two weeks' advance notice will help us to provide seamless access.
