Your BuckID, the official Ohio State University ID, serves as the access card for using dining meal plans.
Newark Dining and the BuckID
All on-campus residential students are required to participate in a meal plan. Consider your current eating patterns, as well as your own cooking, class, social, studying, sleeping and exercise schedules to choose which of the two plans best meets your needs. For more information about dining plans and how they can be used please visit the Dining Website. Please refer to the Regional Meal Plan Section.
Your Dining Plan has Dining Dollars on it and you simply need to select anything on the menu at Table of Contents and the Bean Counter coffee shop via the Grubhub App or in person on the Kiosk and use your card like a Debit card. You will receive a 35% discount off all your Purchases. Your Meal Plan is also valid on the Columbus Campus. You receive the same 35% off, except at the C-Store where it is 10% off. Dining Dollars will continue to roll over until graduation.
Dining Facilities
Table of Contents is our market style dining operation in the Warner Center, featuring:
- Breakfast served daily
- Build-your-own bowls from a selection of rice, pasta, proteins, veggies and sauces
- Baked potato bar & house made soups
- Grilled to order burgers, chicken, grilled cheese & veggie burgers
- Whole or personal pizzas
- Boneless wings, fries & mozzarella sticks
- Fresh deli sandwiches and salads
- Variety of snack foods and grab & go items
- Serving locally roasted Crimson Cup coffee, cold brew coffee (iced and frozen drinks) and fruit smoothies
- Separate station for preparing allergen safe meals
Using Your BuckID Cash
You can use your BuckID cash to purchase items or services at any participating location and to eat in the dining facility, buy items from vending machines and more. You may deposit additional money into the account at any time during the year, via phone or online.
Your BuckID Cash funds in the account will carry over semester to semester or can be refunded at the end of spring semester.
