Our Student Life Residence Life team is comprised of professionals who are committed to building inclusive and globally-aware communities, supporting student wellness, promoting student learning and gaining a broad understanding of the student life practice.   

Residence Hall Director

Successful candidates will have the skills to develop strong residential communities; build relationships with individual students; facilitate dialogue about identity and differences; provide support and referral to students; create intentional experiences and initiatives for residential students; coordinate learning communities and creative academic initiatives; collaborate with faculty and academic partners; shape student leaders through advising; engage in educational conduct conversations; coach and supervise Resident Advisors; mentor graduate students; manage crisis and facilities concerns and are administratively skilled.

Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Student Affairs Administration or related fields (must be earned by July of the starting year); full time or graduate residence life work experience. Desired skills include supervision, advising, student organizations, experience with conduct processes and working with faculty, academic partners or  Living-Learning Communities. Requires successful completion of background check(s).
