2025-2026 Housing Reselection and Renewal

The housing contract reselection and renewal process will begin with Phase 1 from February 14-24. Information will be e-mailed to students’ Ohio State e-mail accounts shortly before.

The housing reselection and renewal process has 3 phases to it:

Phase 1: Preferences and Dining Plan Selection- You will have the opportunity to let us know what you are planning to do for the 2025-2026 academic year and resubmit your housing preferences and select a dining plan.

* Scheduled to begin mid-February

Phase 2: Roommate Request- You will have the opportunity to form a roommate request with 1 other student so that you can select your room assignment with your friend during Phase 3.

* Happens after spring break

Phase 3: Room Select- Roommate requests will be able to choose their room assignment at the same time.  You will be randomly assigned a time slot to access the housing portal to select your room assignment for next year.  Single rooms are assigned centrally by the Student Life Housing and Residence Education office.

* Happens in early April

We have provided a couple of Frequently Asked Question sheets found to the right that can assist you with commonly asked questions regarding the Housing Reselection and Renewal process.
