Residence Halls Remain Open for Fall Break

All of the Residence Halls will remain open for the Autumn break so students are welcome to stay or come and go as they wish. The front desks will remain staffed and there will be staff members in the halls during the break period. For those of you planning to stay in town over the break, the hours of dining facilities can be found at https://www.dining.osu.edu/hours/autumn-break-2019-10-07-10-13.  The dates of the Autumn Break are October 10-11. There will be no classes on campus but the university will still be open.

As you make travel arrangements for Autumn Break, please refer to the following information and share it with family members and friends who will be picking you up and dropping you off.

  • Loading zones near campus residence halls will be used as 15-minute loading zones beginning on Wednesday, October 9 and returning to normal service at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 13.
  • Any vehicle remaining in a loading zone after 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 13 will be towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Additional hourly rate parking is available in some parking garages and surface lots. For information about the location, procedures and rates of these parking options please visit CampusParc or call 614-688-0000.
  • All regular university traffic and parking rules and regulations apply. To be clear and to help you plan, please remember that:
  • No vehicles may be parked on sidewalks
  • No unauthorized vehicles may park in ADA parking spaces.
  • All parking spaces and garages on campus require payment as indicated.
