Join the Student Life Multicultural Center for an exploration of artivism! Artivism (or activism through art) is a movement which seeks to call out and combat societal injustices through creative expression. The movement was pioneered by Chicano, Indigenous, and Black artists throughout various civil rights struggles. This event will feature a panel of local artivists from varied artistic backgrounds, including mural painting, performance, and plastic arts. Come and learn strategies for expressing resistance through art.
