This workshop is designed to help college students develop the confidence, skills, and strategies necessary to advocate for themselves in academic, professional, and personal contexts. By building self-awareness and practicing real-world scenarios, students will learn how to communicate effectively, access resources, and take ownership of their college journey.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn what self-advocacy is and why it matters in college

  • Build communication skills for expressing needs and asking for support

  • Explore campus resources and how to use them confidently

  • Practice real-life scenarios to strengthen your self-advocacy skills
