The Global Business Living-Learning Community (GBLLC) gives first-year business students the opportunity to learn, explore, and live in a residence hall community built around the globalizing world of business. Activities and events are planned around professional development, cultural development and seeing business in practice.

Living-Learning Community Highlights
- Develop professional and leadership skills (resume building, social media workshop, Executive Council, etc.)
- Interact and network with faculty, staff and business executives (executive dining series, company guest speakers, company panels, company tours, etc.)
- Participate in a variety of cultural programming (cross-cultural workshop, holiday celebrations, guest speakers and selective international or domestic learning community business tour, etc.)
Academic Component
- Opportunity to complete a clustered course with other students in the Global Business Learning Community.
LLC Application and Housing Due Dates for Incoming First-Year Students
- A submitted Living-Learning Community Application is due by April 15, 2025. No late applications will be accepted. You do not have to wait until you are accepted to Ohio State and/or receive your housing contract to apply.
- Students will receive an update on their application status by April 30, 2025.
- Please make sure your contract and space reservation fee are received no later than May 15, 2025 in order to ensure your eligibility to participate in a Living-Learning Community. Housing Contracts are sent to your Ohio State email account based upon your paid acceptance to the University beginning in March.
Please note that all students in Living-Learning Communities are required to reside in a space within the Living-Learning Community and live with other Living-Learning Community participants. Living-Learning Community students may only request a roommate accepted into the same LLC.
