Arrival programming to build relationships with fellow SUSTAINS members, connect with SUSTAINS staff and participate in a service project.
Seminar-long course taught in the fall semester by Sustainability Institute staff
Develop and implement a sustainability project on-campus with support from Ohio State faculty and staff
Dinner and dialogue series with professionals working in the sustainability for corporations, nonprofit organizations and in Central Ohio communities.
Annual professional development trip which includes meeting with sustainability professionals involved in urban sustainable development, renewable energy, federal and/or state agency work, sustainable food systems, nonprofit management or corporate sustainablility.
Involvement in a Roots (second-year students) and Shoots (first-year students) mentoring program and opportunities for project-based learning work with Ohio State sustainability staff and faculty.
Opportunities to be involved with sustainability initiatives on campus, as well as service opportunities in the community.
Please note that all students in Living-Learning Communities are required to reside in a space within the Living-Learning Community and live with other Learning Community participants. Living-Learning Community students may only request roommates accepted into the same LLC.
