The BuckeyeThon 5K is a fun, family-friendly, and high-energy race through the heart of Ohio State’s campus that supports BuckeyeThon and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the fight against pediatric cancer and blood disorders. Open to all ages and abilities, participants can walk, jog, or run through iconic campus landmarks while soaking in the excitement of cheering crowds, vibrant music, and an unmatched sense of community.

Every participant receives a free BuckeyeThon T-shirt and medal, with post-race festivities featuring games, photo-ops, and plenty of Buckeye spirit. This is more than just a 5K—it’s a powerful opportunity to rally together, meet our inspiring Champion Kids, and see the direct impact of your support. Whether you're chasing a personal record or taking your time to soak up the experience, the BuckeyeThon 5K is all about having fun and making a difference.
