Introducing the Grad Writing Café - A Biweekly Space for Graduate and Professional Students
Need dedicated time to make progress on your dissertation, thesis, class papers, or research writing? Join us at Buckeye Commons for the new Grad Writing Café, a drop-in writing space from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. every other Wednesday designed for graduate and professional students.
We’re kicking off during Spring Break on Wednesday, March 18 with a mini writing retreat: a quiet, comfortable workspace; flexible seating; coffee, tea, pastries and fruit; and resource highlights tailored to graduate and professional student needs. Each week, you’ll find a calm, supportive environment to focus, recharge and connect with other graduate students. Each biweekly drop-in style session runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and will feature an optional resource or method spotlight from 9:30-10 a.m.
Stop by for as long as you’d like - settle in by the windows with lounge seating or work at a table cluster. Bring your writing project, and we’ll provide the space, the snacks and the support.
RSVP encouraged, but not required. Not able to attend March 18 but interested in staying updated on future sessions? Opt for future communications about Grad Writing Café on the RSVP form.
Open to all graduate and professional students. Hosted by Buckeye Commons in the Alonso Family Room, located near the High Street entrance in the Ohio Union. Email SL-BuckeyeCommons@osu.edu with questions.
