Join OUAB and the Pakistani American Student Association (PASA) for an unforgettable night of comedy with stand-up comics Danish Maqbool and Emil Wakim!

Danish Maqbool is a Pakistani-American comedian born and raised in New Jersey. Before comedy, Danish was a professional gamer and on-air producer for Major League Gaming. Danish has been doing standup for over 10 years now and just recently had a set featured on Don't Tell Comedy. He was also in seasons 2&3 of Hulu's RAMY and also appears in Ramy Youssef's new show #1 HAPPY FAMILY USA on Amazon Prime. In December of 2025, he filmed his first standup special.

Emil Wakim is a stand up comedian, writer, and actor based in Brooklyn, New York. Emil made history as the first Lebanese-American cast member of Saturday Night Live, where his stand-out Weekend Update appearances earned him international acclaim during SNL’s milestone 50th season. Emil has also been seen on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Don’t Tell Comedy, and Comedy Central. He was selected as a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and was named one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know.

Admission Policy: A Ticket and valid BuckID is required for entry. This event is ONE attendee per BuckID - meaning that one BuckID holder can gain entry for only themselves. Please keep in mind that tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and seating is general admission. A ticket does not guarantee entry into the venue. -

Transportation: Attendees are welcome to walk or drive to the venue. ADA parking is available. All CABS routes will be running as normal. As always, ride sharing services are an option (at your own discretion)
