Update

Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities will be administered in compliance with the law as of June 27, 2025.

The Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community

Discover what’s possible when ideas meet action. The Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Community (ELLC) at Ohio State is where big thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers come together to turn ideas into impact. Whether you dream of starting a business, launching a social enterprise, or sparking change in your community, this is your place to explore, experiment, and grow alongside like-minded peers.

Students from any major are welcome. You don’t need a business plan, just curiosity, creativity, and the drive to make things better.

In the ELLC, you’ll learn how entrepreneurs tackle some of the world’s most pressing problems such as sustainability, access to healthcare, food insecurity, and digital inclusion by thinking differently and acting boldly. You’ll explore what innovation looks like in real life: developing tech solutions that improve communities, creating mission-based ventures that give back, and discovering how your own ideas can make a real difference.

Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and community, you’ll gain the mindset and tools to bring your ideas to life, no matter where your path leads.
