Creating the Extraordinary Student Experience: Office of Student Life
The International House (I-House) living-learning community at The Ohio State University is a one-of-a-kind space for students, staff, and faculty from around the world to live and learn together. Founded over thirty years ago, I-House provides participants with opportunities to learn more about themselves and others through interactive workshops, special events, retreats, and educational road trips.
During their time in I-House, students explore how to live and learn with individuals from similar and different backgrounds than their own. Along with these peer connections, participants also work with faculty, staff, and alumni to develop the self-awareness and intercultural skills needed to adapt and thrive in communities at home or abroad.
Please note that all students in Living-Learning Communities are required to reside in a space within the Living-Learning Community and live with other Learning Community participants. Living-Learning Community students may only request roommates accepted into the same LLC.
